Get ready to reap the benefits with MJA

Get ready to reap the benefits of a most effective and advanced method of memorizing the core meaning and essential definition of Barron's 3500 words.

Mr. Jain whose name is registered in LIMCA BOOK of WORLD RECORDS for memorizing 80,000 words from OXFORD DICTIONARY has devised an amazing method through which one can memorize the core meaning of Barron's 3500 words.

According to a study, perhaps nobody would gainsay that your chances for excellent score in GRE VERBAL are directly related to the size of your vocabulary. And as a bonus, when you increase your vocabulary you empower yourself to communicate more clearly and effectively. For more engaging, persuasive communication, you need to make a habit of expanding your vocabulary.

At MJA we believe students should know the meanings as well as various applications of the word. So our trainers, quintessentially, emphasize on memorizing the core meanings as well as on the application and contextual meanings. With the aids of clippings from Newspapers , Magazines, Literature, TV channels and from actual papers of ETS we help students to understand the applications of the word.

MJA

AMAZING METHOD OF MEMORSING WORDS ?

The MJ Method is a revolutionary technique to acquire an excellent vocabulary in a surprisingly short time with little or no possibility of forgetting the words you learn. A paradigm-shift in the approach to vocabulary-acquisition, the MJ technique is highly scientific and innovative. It is effective because it makes you realize and harness the incredible power of your brain - the human brain being the most powerful big-computer in the known universe, much more powerful than any supercomputer - by intensely engaging all of your five senses: seeing, hearing, touching, tasting, and feeling, (thumbnails of eye, ear, etc.?) to learn words; instead of using only the sense of hearing or rote memorization which is the staple of traditional vocabulary-learning.

Let's us see how effective visual sense is in fast understanding.

Techniques

You learn faster and more effectively because you - through your senses - are more intensely and actively involved in visualizing vocabulary.

The criminal was staring the judge with balefully

Baleful means Harmful.

With this picture (below), one can understand that a criminal is staring the judge with harmful (baleful) intention.

baleful

A bacchanalian is swilling wine

Bacchanalian means a drunken person & Swill means to drink large amount quikly esp. wine.

bacchanalian

With the visuals, it is easier to understand the words. With this picture, you can easily relate to Amitabh Bacchan’s role in SHARABI. He played a bacchanalian & was drinking a lot of alcohol quickly. .

Learn the cardinal Principles of Memorization.

Before elucidating this principle I would like to ask you some questions.
Question 1.
With whom did you go to Taj Mahal last time ?
Think of the answer before reading next question.

Question 2.
Where did your scooter/car got punctured... or scene of any accident or when your petrol ran out.
Close your eyes and think of that place of accident, where, what happened later.
Now third question...

Who was the villain in the movie "Sholay, Titanic "?
Who was the villain in the movie " Earthquake" ?
Perhaps you have answered both the names of movie "Sholay " and "Titanic ".
Now I am asking the words which appeared in GRE paper.

Write down the meanings of
1. Tenebrous     2. Kowtow
Let's understand what is memory and retention.
Mahavir Jain's definition of memory in a broader way.

"The pictures which appear in front of your eyes and the sound which you hear when something is asked - is memory".

I would like to bolster it with examples....

Who was the villain in the movies "Sholay and Titanic "
Could you answer it ? Yes... Why ?

Are there some pictures / shots of "Sholay or Titianic"
in front of your eyes? And what about sound ?

With whom you went to Taj Mahal ?
Are you able to conjure up the pictures of the people with you ? YES...

And what about this question:
Who is the villain in the famous movie " Earthquake"?
What picture is coming in front of your eyes? What sound you are hearing in your brain ?

memorizing Words
memorizing Words

If there are no pictures and sounds...
this is not in your memory

So you are unable to answer those questions (Villain in the movie "Earthquake and the meaning of Tenebrous ) which are bereft of pictures and sound.

So friends , I want to make you realize that the cardinal rule of memorization is visualization. Because when you retrieve a particular information , your brain ferrets out the picture and sound associated with it.

So all the words you will be learning at MJ Academy with the visuals

Memorization

always through

Visualization

Now another cardinal rule is to link new word which you want to memorize with a similar sound word. This link word will help you to form a picture/image.

Now form various sentences like:

Now Visualization for memory and retention:
Before this make a link word which has similar sound . The link word is "Extra pate (Hindi word meaning Belly, Stomach)

Imagine this portly man is dancing and exercising to extirpate his Extra Fat from the Pate.
